DataBridge Opens The Door Between PlanWell And Prolog

June 2009

PlanWell DataBridge

Communication is key – the ability to span gaps in platforms immediately and with effect – essential.

That’s why we created PlanWell DataBridge™, an application enabling the real-time exchange of information between PlanWell Enterprise, the most widely available online planroom in our industry today, and Prolog® – construction project management software licensed by Meridian Systems.

With DataBridge, Prolog users will be able to share common data, synchronize project information, and eliminate redundant data entry – increasing efficiency and leveraging the power of both applications into one powerhouse system.

Houston To Australia – In 36 Hours

June 2009

bike-outback5 A Texas oil company needed a packet of important documents sent from its Houston offices to a conference in northern Australia – and they needed them there fast.

What would you do?  Alert the mail room?  Put the local delivery company on standby and prepare to pay exorbitantly?  Our client wisely chose to have us send their documents via ishipdocs, a digital shipping system which skirts the security and customs lines and gets your documents where they need to go, when they’re needed.

With ishipdocs we were able to send the needed files to Australia with a keystroke, have them printed there and delivered within hours – 36 hours in all from the moment they were sent from Houston to the time they reached their intended destination in Darwin, Australia.

No flight delays, customs checks, exorbitant shipping charges.  Something to consider next time you’re up against a deadline, wouldn’t you agree?  If you feel ishipdocs might be able to help you solve your next shipping crisis, click the ishipdocs link to learn more.

Tigers And Bears and Xena, Oh My!

June 2009

dunnwrap21Guys like trucks.  Big trucks.  It’s a fact. But did you know we can add a little extra style to your favorite four-wheeler – or an 18-wheeler for that matter – with a personalized “auto wrap” designed to get you a lot more attention on the road?

One of our Michigan branch offices learned of man’s affection for his vehicle during a recent call at a local car dealership.  There to talk about “wrapping” the dealership’s shuttle fleet, our salesperson didn’t miss a beat when their marketing manager asked: “Can you guys wrap my truck?”

Our client came up with a design scheme that included virtually every “guy” element known – bears, eagles, wolves, mountains and a scantily-clad warrior princess riding a saber-toothed tiger.

Turns out the marketing man was organizing a car show for the dealership that week and wanted an “eye catching” centerpiece for the event.  He got it, in spades, when we returned the car in all its splendor two days later.  If you’re interested in giving your car, truck, or fleet a little visual kick, just let us know.

Backdrops Bask In Ballet’s Limelight

June 2009

ballerinas2The dancing was exquisite but for our clients the real stars of “Diving Into The Lilacs” weren’t the dancers but the backdrops.

The San Francisco Ballet company asked if we could create inkjet prints on canvas for their production of “Lilacs” and we said “sure.”  The design and color departments at our San Francisco branch collaborated with the ballet company to find an appropriate look and produced the job on their UV Curable inkjet printer.

Four different backdrops were produced, each consisting of ten 4’ x 9’ panels (1440 sq ft total) which were subsequently assembled by the ballet company’s production crew.  The results, as you can see, were stellar.  The reviews from the ballet company were as plauditory for the backdrops as they were for  “Lilacs.”  Need some large-format print work done?
